Common questions

Do I need to read Hebrew?

No. Scanning is not reading. You let your eyes pass over the letters, right to left, and that is the whole technique. Every Name also carries a transliteration, a purpose, and a meditation in English if you want the meaning as well.

Do I need an account?

No, and there is not one to make. Shem72 has no sign-in, no profile, and no cloud. Everything you do stays on your device.

Does it work offline?

Fully. Airplane mode, a retreat centre with no signal, a flight: all 72 Names, the 24 gates, the prayers, and the sky calculations run on the phone itself.

What does Premium include, and is it a subscription?

It is a single one-time purchase, not a subscription. It opens all 24 gates, unlimited custom names and custom scan rituals, the complete category library, and your full practice history and streaks. Every feature added in later versions is included at no extra cost.

I paid on another device / I reinstalled. How do I get Premium back?

Open Settings → Premium and tap Restore purchase. As long as you are signed into the same App Store or Play account that made the purchase, it comes straight back.

I have an access code.

Open Settings → Premium, tap Have an access code? at the bottom of the screen, and enter it. It unlocks immediately and works offline.

Why does the app ask for my location?

Only to compute your local sunrise and sunset, which is what decides the ruler of the current planetary hour on the angel wheel. The calculation runs on your device and the coordinate is never transmitted anywhere. Decline it and everything else still works, including the Sun's own Name for the day.

How do I stop the reminders?

Settings → Daily Reminders for the practice nudges, Settings → Gate Journey Reminders for the gate schedule, and Settings → Angel of the Day for planetary transit alerts. Each can be switched off on its own.

How do I delete everything?

Your practice lives on your phone, so deleting the app deletes it: favourites, notes, streaks, custom names, every session. There is no copy on a server for me to remove, and nothing survives the uninstall.

Two things sit outside the phone, and both come out on request:

• Your newsletter email, if you typed one in. Every letter carries an unsubscribe link at the foot, which stops the sending. Unsubscribing suppresses the address rather than erasing it, so if you want it gone outright, write to shem72@apps.blvckstudios.com and ask me to erase you. It goes within 30 days.
• Any support email you sent me, which I delete from my inbox on the same request.

Purchase records are the one exception. Google Play, Apple and RevenueCat hold those, and they have to stay for as long as refund, tax and accounting law says. Neither of us can delete them on request.

Refunds

Purchases are handled by Apple and Google, not by me, so refunds go through them: reportaproblem.apple.com for the App Store, or Google Play's order history for Android. Write to me anyway if something went wrong — I would rather know.

Reporting something broken

The most useful bug report says what you tapped, what you expected, and what happened instead. If you send it from Settings → Support & Feedback the version and build are attached automatically, which usually saves a round trip.
