Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Shem72 mobile application and of https://shem72.blvckstudios.com (together, the “Service”), provided by BLVCK STUDIOS (“we”, “us”). By installing or using Shem72 you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

Shem72 is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Where those stores impose their own end user licence terms, those terms also apply to your copy of the app, and Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement applies to the extent it is not superseded by these terms.

2. What Shem72 is, and what it is not

Shem72 presents the 72 Names of God (the Shem HaMephorash), a traditional Jewish contemplative and kabbalistic subject derived from Exodus 14:19–21, together with meditations, readings, journalling prompts, and astronomical calculations, as material for personal practice and study.

3. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Shem72 on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial practice. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, rent, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the app, nor redistribute its written content, audio, or artwork as your own or as part of another product or course, except as permitted by law.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Shem72, or older where your local law requires a higher age for consent to digital services. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, use the app with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

5. Purchases, Premium, and access codes

Part of Shem72 is free to use. The remainder is unlocked by Premium, which is a single one-time purchase (a non-consumable in-app purchase) rather than a subscription. There is nothing to cancel and no recurring charge.

• Payment, tax, and billing are handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never see or store your payment details.
• Premium is tied to the store account that bought it. Signing into that account on another device and using Restore purchase reinstates it.
• Prices may change for future buyers. A purchase already made is not affected.
• Refunds are governed by the store you bought from. Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. Google Play: your Play order history. We can advocate for you but we cannot issue a store refund ourselves.
• Access codes we issue (for review, press, gifts, or support goodwill) grant Premium on the device where they are entered. They are for the person they were given to, may be time-limited or withdrawn from future versions, carry no cash value, and are not transferable or for resale. Sharing or publishing a code may result in it being revoked.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, to interfere with its operation or security, or to circumvent Premium or any technical limitation. Do not present Shem72's content as your own teaching material or resell it.

7. Intellectual property

The Hebrew source text of Exodus 14:19–21 and the classical literature surrounding the Names are not owned by anyone. The app itself is: its code, design, artwork, wordmark, the 24-gate journey and its readings, the written meditations, journal prompts, and the arrangement and presentation of the 72 Names are © 2026 BLVCK STUDIOS, all rights reserved.

Hand gestures presented in the app are inspired by the work of Stan Tenen and are credited in the app. Your own journal entries, notes, and custom scans are yours; they live on your device and we have no access to them and claim no rights in them.

8. Third parties

Distribution and payment run through Apple and Google. Purchase state may be validated through RevenueCat acting as our processor. The website's newsletter form, if you choose to use it, passes your email address to MailerLite. Each of these has its own terms and privacy policy. 9. Availability and changes

We may add, change, or remove features, and we may stop offering the Service. We will not remove Premium content you have already paid for while the app remains available to you on your device. Astronomical calculations are provided on a best-effort basis and are not suitable for navigation or any safety-critical purpose.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BLVCK STUDIOS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Shem72 in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend access if you materially breach these terms. Sections 7, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Belgium have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of your local consumer law or of your right to bring proceedings in your own country of residence.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version, and material changes will be noted in the app's release notes. Continuing to use Shem72 after a change means you accept the updated terms.
